Representatives from Both Sides of the Aisle Team Up for National Defense Authorization Act
On Tuesday, Nov 29th the Us Senate voted down a provision (provision 1031) meant to modify the yet-to-be-approved-by-Senate National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) / S.1867 The NDAA already passed the house as H.R. 1540 This provision at it’s core would have prevented the U.S. Military (which Canada and the U.N. can “legally” take command of under certain loosely defined circumstances) from detaining citizens of these united states labeled (without proof) terrorism suspects on U.S. soil and hold them indefinitely without trial. Powers currently “provided for” by the NDAA.
Penn. representatives have subjected ordinary Americans to military detention under NDAAThat’s you and me folks; yet all it takes is an accusation of “terrorism”. Our federal government through it’s agents (FBI,CIA, ATF, Homeland Security, etc.) has already “reserved” that power for itself under the police state initializing “Patriot” Act. This alone harkens to the truest definition of tyranny. Now this NDAA once passed will broaden the police state powers already in place by allowing both the civil government and the military to take anyone it wants without acknowledging that they even did so, keeping them indefinitely without notification to anyone (family, loved ones, employers, the public at large), keep them without charge, trial, or legal representation…….to keep them with zero rights.
Now remember, not too far back, right here in Pennsylvania ONE government watch list was leaked out listing many different legitimate organizations and individuals as potential “domestic terrorists”? Don’t remember? Well, guess what. The Libertarian party was on that list. If you are reading this right now you are quite potentially on a list at the very least as a sympathizer. Read other Liberty posts online? Have you ever read about/talked about Ron Paul on line….facebook maybe? Do you own guns? Against fracking? Signed a petition online? Read the “wrong” books? Look at porn online? Register for a hunting license every year? Get your “news” from other countries? Not registered Republicrat?
Am I sounding a little paranoid here? Maybe. However, I challenge anyone to prove that what I am saying is not true and documented openly. You might think “OUR government would never do that”. Well; is it really the people’s government anymore? Do we hold the reins on the government or does the government hold reins on us?
Below is a list of the Senators that voted against the provision that would have removed these powers from the NDAA before it goes to vote in the Senate. For those of us in Pennsylvania please take special note that both our Senators Bob Casey Jr. (D-PA) and Pat Toomey (R-PA) voted against this provision. Pat Toomey (R-PA) and Bob Casey Jr. (D-PA) voted for the military being “allowed” to exercise the above mentioned powers and in doing so throwing habeas corpus straight out the window. Anyone still think its R vs. D? Left vs. Right? Conservative vs. Liberal? It is We The People (all of us) vs. The State; always has and always will be.

Additionally it appears in May when the House voted to approve the NDAA every rep from Pennsylvania except Rep. Chaka Fattah (D) from the Philly area and Rep. Mike Doyle (D) from the Pittsburgh area voted in favor. Both of these reps should be applauded for their vote against tyranny.
