I recently posted this video link from Reason.tv on facebook. It discusses the current financial crisis in Harrisburg. I have seen the parallels between the capital of our commonwealth and our very own York City for some time now. Thinking I would be able to draw some to evaluate this foreshadowing of York’s future as such I added the brief comment “Up next: York, PA”. To this I received the following response:

One of many currently unanswered questions on the minds of voters’, possible candidates, and county chairs of political parties across Pennsylvania at the time of this writing is “will we be having two separate primaries” this year?”.

Join us as we prepare for total Anarchy in the streets of our beloved York, PA courtesy of her Honorable Mayor Bracey. The good mayor has declared that she will halt all governmental functions at 12:01 am January 1rst 2012 if city council does not pass her 20% tax increase. 
The better half of council has no intentions of giving in to Bracey’s thuggery whether it comes from her “honorable” self, her administration, her patsy half of council, or her royal guards on loan from the York City Police Force and paid for by our tax dollars. Genevieve Ray, Carol Hill-Evans, and Renee Nelson; we at the York County Libertarian Party commend you on standing your ground for the people of York.

*Regionalization. As defined on Wikipedia it is the process of dividing a political entity or country into smaller jurisdictions (administrative divisions or sub-national units) and transferring power from the central government to the regions; the opposite of unitarisation. This is what Eventually Mayor Bracey
and her “associates” will be calling her big plan when they finally think they have a ripe opportunity to sell it.

One statement can without doubt be said for York City Councilman Henry Nixon; his ability to twist the words and loose the meaning of good people is truly dumbfounding. To take what Manuel Gomez has been stating long before his 2011 Libertarian campaign for York City Council and distort it in such a self serving fashion is ignorance and conceit at it’s climax.
